People like, say, Gokudera, who he likes but doesn't really think would be terribly sympathetic, are also not included. I like, seriously don't wanna hang out here with Liet right now... can I come chill with someone else for a while?

[He hesitates awkwardly for a moment, then shuts off the recording.]

[He manages a little smile. At least someone pays attention to him when they're in the same room, instead of going on and on about this cute girl--No, not focusing on that. Hanging out with America, dammit!]

[America always pays attention to countries he's trying to westernize! He's grinning, since today's a good day for him, and his grins tend to be infectious. He's also oblivious and isn't entirely aware that Poland's not his usual self.]

Burgers are.. well.. these things! [He points to the frozen circles of meat patty defrosting on the counter.] It's beef! And once these are cooked they go in between buns [Point, he continues to point as he mentions each item.] and you can put pickles and tomatoes and lettuce on them! You can even put on cheese!

[He's so excited it's hard to properly convey.]

[Poland grins back a bit wider, because he's... really quite easy to distract.]

Meat and cheese and vegetables are totally good!

[Not sure about these "bun" things, which appear to bear only a slight resemblance to proper bread...]

That's why it's healthy for you! My people eat these a lot, and they're all in really good shape!

[He pulls out a bag of fries from the freezer and will start prepping them to go in the oven.]

These are usually eaten with them! They're... pretty much sticks of potato.

[He pauses, and turns to him. Good thing America doesn't judge, as he's confused over his whole feelings for England and just denies them forever pretty clear that everyone should like whoever they want. Plus, weirdness is canon in Hetalia world.]

[America flips his burgers and puts his arm around Poland. Good thing personal space isn't an issue with him! It's a sort of half embrace, even if his arm's a little heavy]

[Poland feels slightly squished, but being hugged is good! He sort of drops his head sideways against America's shoulder.]

Or he might think I'm a total freak for even thinking that way. I mean, yeah, okay, we hang out all the time, and he always does nice stuff for me and stuff, and...

Like, I don't know. One day, he'll be all paying attention to me and hugging me and stuff, and then he'll be all "Pakistan is sooooooo cute, and she's such a good cook, and her culture is so interesting!" It's majorly frustrating, ohmigod...

Yeah, Pakistan. He like, went over to hang out at her place the other day, and he hasn't shut up about her since. He was there again earlier today, and I kinda didn't wanna hear it, so I bailed.
