[This entry is locked to those who Poland considers a)friends, and b)people he can talk to about Boy Problems. Liet, since Boy Problems are always his fault, is not included. People like, say, Gokudera, who he likes but doesn't really think would be terribly sympathetic, are also not included. Definitely included are Hungary, Wolfram, Nitori, Elaine, Aerith, America... if you think your character might be included, go ahead and assume they are.]

I like, seriously don't wanna hang out here with Liet right now... can I come chill with someone else for a while?

[He hesitates awkwardly for a moment, then shuts off the recording.]

[America flips his burgers and puts his arm around Poland. Good thing personal space isn't an issue with him! It's a sort of half embrace, even if his arm's a little heavy]

Do you know for sure? I mean you guys spend a lot of time together! He might feel the same way!

[Poland feels slightly squished, but being hugged is good! He sort of drops his head sideways against America's shoulder.]

Or he might think I'm a total freak for even thinking that way. I mean, yeah, okay, we hang out all the time, and he always does nice stuff for me and stuff, and...

Like, I don't know. One day, he'll be all paying attention to me and hugging me and stuff, and then he'll be all "Pakistan is sooooooo cute, and she's such a good cook, and her culture is so interesting!" It's majorly frustrating, ohmigod...

[He frowns a bit. Yeah America can't help that he's.. not entirely accustomed with his own strength. He's not on good terms with Pakistan for multiple reasons.]

Yeah, Pakistan. He like, went over to hang out at her place the other day, and he hasn't shut up about her since. He was there again earlier today, and I kinda didn't wanna hear it, so I bailed.

[He sighs.] You like, think so? It sounds to me like he does, and it's, you know, defs not me.

[Pfffft, Liet and Poland are like "BUT I LIKE GIRLS D="-dere and bossy little bitchface-dere. Not so much tsuntsun as stupid.]

[That's okay, seeing how much tsuntsun is between America and England.]

She's like, not that much younger than us. I mean, in form. And it's totally normal for men to take younger brides...

Well, age of consent is 18 and all, so I don't think so..

18's totally a little old. I mean, like, not too old, but tons of girls marry before then, for real...

...Oh, right. You're from like.. centuries past. In my time, girls choose when they get married! Some don't until they're like in their 20s at least.. it's all about getting a job and making money!

But women are way more likely to die in childbirth when they've started to age! Doesn't it make way more sense for them to start a family early, when they're young and strong?

Usually, women who start doing that early have trouble with school and stuff. And considering most of them are in school until their twenties anyway, it makes sense that they wait until they establish careers and stuff before they focus on families!

[Yay burgers are done he starts scooping them onto the buns.]

[Surprised] Women go to school in your time? Like... normal women?

[Noblewomen get to have tutors if their families can afford it, sure, but...]

...I'm glad. Jadwiga totally would be, too--she always thought education was way important. She like, even sold her jewels to support the university in Kraków!

Uh huh! [And he puffs a bit with pride.] My women can do lots of things! They have equal rights as men, can own property and can even vote for my bosses!

They get to vote? That's so cool! All the men in the szlachta can vote for my bosses, but like--ohmigod, that's awesome!

[Medieval!Poland is all about the civil liberties for his time, but hasn't even considered some of these things XD]

Yup! Yeah, it took a while, but it was a big thing! Revolutions are always good, no matter how small!

[THAT'S FINE neither did he .D.b He puts some lettuce and tomatoes on the burgers and grins as he goes to check on the fries.]

Okay, so normally they're eaten with like ketchup and mustard and stuff. Want me to put everything on it?

I have no clue what those are, but sure!

[A few moments later, something akin to a Whopper gets presented to Poland. With fries, of course.]

[Would be better with, idk, less sketchy cheese and decent bread, but eh, it's free food, and it's warm, and that's comforting!]

Hehehe! I knew you'd like it! [He half devours the one for him in like.. three bites.] Want anything to drink? Soda? Milk shake?

[Ikr? And America, Poland and I love you, but your cheese is a monstrosity. Poland tilts his head slightly, not recognizing either of those options.]

Like, why would you shake milk?

[And will the end result bring all the boys to the yard?]

[But it's Americannnnn and yeah I like the Italian cheeses better.]

Actually you mix it with ice cream! It's good!

[Damn right. It's also better than your's. He'll teach you, but he'll have to charge.]

I'll make you a chocolate one! Since that's my favorite, too!

[And so he starts doing that.]

[French, bb. Brie and Port Salut alllllll the way! He might be a pervert, but man that nation makes some bitchin' cheese.]

I totally like chocolate! Sakura helped me make some earlier, and Liet tried cooking with it once~

[He notices the trailing off, now that he knows Poland's upset, and speaks up as he readies the blender and gets the ice cream and syrup. Oh and it's between 1 and 2 USDs, depending on where you're 'learning' from.]

[Poland remains sort of trailed off as he watches America go about the kitchen. Which, when he stops to think about it, is also slight emo-inducing, because most of what he does in kitchens is watch Liet cook. Dammit.]

[Stop being depress, Poland. It only takes a minute or two for America to blend up the ice cream and milk and the syrup, and soon Poland has a shake to go with his food.]
