A pisanka. Pisanki is plural. They're like, dyed eggs with patterns on them! Some of my people scratch through the dye to the white of the shell, and some of them draw on the egg with wax before they dye them, but it's a super old tradition at my place. The church didn't used to like it, 'cause I kind of... made them before I was baptized and stuff, but we found a way to work it into the Easter traditions and make it into something that's for Christ, so they're okay with it now and I make them every year~
