[Someone's been avoiding everyone the mansion in a fit of awkward and angst since the mirrors showed up!]

[There's really just too much for Poland to deal with right now. His friend-breakup with Elaine, his encounter with Mirror Lithuania, the knowledge that Mirror Poland was free to scare Aang and hurt Nai and maybe do bad things to his other friends... He's curled up underneath his cloak in a corner of the overgrown garden at the edge of the forest, where he's been hiding out today.]

[The knowledge that his memories were able to disrupt the Mansion itself helps him, gives him hope, makes him feel more powerful. But...]

Back home. You don't know what her life is back home mate. The Lord teaches us tolerance. If, even if she's in cohorts with the devil back home, she's got a good heart, the the Lord would want you to judge her based on her heart, not on her friends.

I'll tell you a secret. I've got a mate back home. He's a werewolf. Didn't tell us a thing about it till my best mate and I figured it out.

Even then he didn't want to tell us.

His reason, he was trying to protect us. Protect himself too. 'E figured if we knew what he was we wouldn't want to hang out with him anymore.

You know what we did? We accepted it. Sometimes people lie to you, sometimes they hurt you without thinking. It's not always that they're bad people mate. It's that they're trying to protect themselves. Just like you.

[Poland frowns, fussing with his shirtsleeves. He's trying to still sound stubborn, but failing a little, largely because he thinks Sirius is a priest and priests' advice is to be followed whenever possible.]
