Fifteenth Entry [Audio | Locked to Liet | Hackable]

Liet. We totes need to talk about something, as soon as you get the chance.

[Deep breath] Once you get him in close range, he's not very strong. Just... hard to kill.

Stabbing him in the throat didn't work. Stabbing him in the eye did.

[identity profile] watchful-knight.livejournal.com 2010-03-07 06:08 pm (UTC)(link)
I will remember that. I'm sure we can do it together, Poland.

...I want to see the room now. Pakistan wanted to see Afghanistan first.

[identity profile] reckless-eagle.livejournal.com 2010-03-07 09:22 pm (UTC)(link)
I like, did it last time, so I know we can.

Let's get armored, and I'll take you to where he was the last time I saw him...

[Glad that the conversation hasn't required him to talk about his non-stabbing interactions with the major...]

[identity profile] watchful-knight.livejournal.com 2010-03-08 12:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Wouldn't he be able to eleminate his weaknesses if ...he is like that?

[He doesn't know what to call it, and getting armored sounds good. And Lithuania doesn't know much about the 2 WW time (Germany was an ass towards everyone, no reason to assume that it was even worse for Poland), so there is no reason ask about it.]

[identity profile] reckless-eagle.livejournal.com 2010-03-08 03:00 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't know. I totally don't.

[He starts putting on the parts of his armor that he can reach by himself.]

[identity profile] watchful-knight.livejournal.com 2010-03-08 03:11 pm (UTC)(link)
[Lithuania is already done with that and has moved on to the parts that he will need help with, so he comes over to the other nation.]

I'm sure we can find something, though. We're together. We'll win.

[identity profile] reckless-eagle.livejournal.com 2010-03-08 03:24 pm (UTC)(link)
[Poland nods, finishing with the stuff he can do alone and starting to help Liet.]

Totally. We'll like, make this right.

[Pats him on the back]

[identity profile] watchful-knight.livejournal.com 2010-03-08 05:04 pm (UTC)(link)
...At least for now.

[They always come back, after all.]

[identity profile] reckless-eagle.livejournal.com 2010-03-08 05:18 pm (UTC)(link)
...Well, we'll like, see if me helping kill him twice gets the message through his head. If not, there's got to be a limit to how much he can come back or something, right?

[There is something ironic about POLAND saying that.]

[identity profile] watchful-knight.livejournal.com 2010-03-08 05:29 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm sure there is. There has to be.

[And something equally ironic about Lithuania answering that.]

And maybe then he'll at least stay away from good people.

[identity profile] reckless-eagle.livejournal.com 2010-03-08 05:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, seriously.

You're done. Get mine?

[identity profile] watchful-knight.livejournal.com 2010-03-08 07:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Sure.

[Helps Poland with his.]

I think we should get a gun and learn how to handle it.

[identity profile] reckless-eagle.livejournal.com 2010-03-08 07:30 pm (UTC)(link)
We've like, had a long time to get used to the weapons we already have. Do you think it's worth the effot? I mean, we've totally got crossbows and stuff already...

[identity profile] watchful-knight.livejournal.com 2010-03-08 07:57 pm (UTC)(link)
They are a huge advantage in battle. Faster to reload, stronger, and fit for longer distances than crossbows. We should at least try it.

[identity profile] reckless-eagle.livejournal.com 2010-03-08 08:06 pm (UTC)(link)
...I bet America will teach us, if we ask. He seems good with them, and I'm pretty sure he likes us.

[identity profile] watchful-knight.livejournal.com 2010-03-08 08:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Or we-

[bites his lip. Not mentioning Pakistan.]

That sounds like a good idea.

[identity profile] reckless-eagle.livejournal.com 2010-03-08 08:26 pm (UTC)(link)
We can like, ask him later. When we get back, and Pakistan isn't around.

[Good job, Liet. You don't lose Poland points!]

[identity profile] watchful-knight.livejournal.com 2010-03-08 08:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes... let's go.

[Grabs his sword and opens the door, holding it open for the other nation.]

[identity profile] reckless-eagle.livejournal.com 2010-03-08 08:38 pm (UTC)(link)
[Poland takes his own weapons, and heads out, leading Liet towards the stairs]

[identity profile] reckless-eagle.livejournal.com 2010-03-08 08:57 pm (UTC)(link)
[Standing outside the door to the room he last saw the Major in, Poland takes a deep breath. The things that had been done to Ritsuka, the things that the Major told him happened to his people--he feels sick to his stomach, something deep inside him screaming at the thought of it all, and he rests a hand on the wall to steady himself]

It was through here. There were like, traps last time, so be way careful...

[There's definitely something off about his voice. It's... a little empty.]

[identity profile] watchful-knight.livejournal.com 2010-03-09 05:48 pm (UTC)(link)
[He nods and opens the door with the tip of his sword instead of his hand, standing as far away from it as possibe - nothing happens.]

What happened when you were here last time?

[identity profile] reckless-eagle.livejournal.com 2010-03-09 06:43 pm (UTC)(link)
You were asleep, and on the network, there was--the communicator turned on, and he had Ritsuka, and he was--was like, hurting him. Cutting him open, putting some strange thing into the wound, with the boy awake and pleading with him to stop, and I--I told him to stop, and he laughed at me, told me... things... [He looks sick and weak at the memory.]

I like, found this room because something inside it exploded. Another friend of Ritsuka's set off some of the traps trying to get to him--I don't know his name. He was like, bleeding from shrapnel wounds by the time I got there. There were more explosions when Dean and I went in, but we got through to the door on the other side, and he... he was there.

Like I said, he isn't very hard to fight, once you're close. Carries a gun, can't shoot it very well. I don't remember what--I think we talked. I can't remember what we said, I was so angry, and he shot at me a lot but he missed, and I--I cut his arm so he'd stop shooting, but the bone stopped it. Metal. I think all of them are. Definitely--definitely his spine and skull. Felt it when I punched him, and when I...yeah.

[Still looking pretty unwell.]

[identity profile] watchful-knight.livejournal.com 2010-03-09 06:53 pm (UTC)(link)
[Stepping back a bit, waiting for the door to do somethhing, and very attentively listening to Poland while he does so. Then he reaches for his crossbow and fires inside a couple of times, setting off some traps.]

What did he tell you?

[Because, despite everything else being more relevant to the current situation, that seems to be more relevant to Poland.]

[identity profile] reckless-eagle.livejournal.com 2010-03-09 06:59 pm (UTC)(link)
...What Germany had done to my people, during the war he doesn't want to talk about. What... What he thought was "good enough" for my children.
