[Takes a deep breath, leaning into Lithuania's touch for comfort]

...God, I hope so. I don't... I don't know, but...

He like... told me that when they occupied my cities, they... they attacked my civilians, even after they'd destroyed my government. Attacked schools, hospitals, churches. Took my people--not just my soldiers, my merchants and scholars and women and children and anyone they pleased-- from their homes, forced them to go to places they built on my soil. Less prisons than slaughterhouses. Starved them, worked them to death. My Jews and my Gypsies and my sick and anyone Germany didn't think was good enough. Said they weren't good enough to live and reproduce, so he--poisoned them by the hundreds, shot them, gave them over to--to men with no right to call themselves doctors, doctors have to swear not to bring their patients to injustice, not to hurt them, not to do things like he was doing--things like the Major does. To Ritsuka, and to Pakistan, and to my people, but they're alive again and my people won't live again in our world. Not until Christ comes again. I--

[He cuts himself off, realizing that he's gotten pretty incoherent and hysterical, and focuses on breathing deeply and trying not to cry.]

[Nobody seems to be in there anymore, so Lithuania takes a step away form the door, over to Poland. His thumb rubs softly , soothing over the blond's cheek and he wraps his arm around his friend, pulling him closer.]

He will come again. One day, He will come in his glory, and everyone will get what they deserve.

[It's a simple truth to him now. Because it always was that to Poland.]

And it doesn't happen now. And here we can do something about what this Major does. ...Something. I'm sure we can.

[The armor makes it a bit awkward, but Poland leans forward into Lithuania's arms, trying to stifle a little sob.]

I totally know. I do. I've never doubted that, even for a moment. But I... It still hurts. To like, think of my people killed like they were nothing more than animals. They deserve so much better, and I always try to take good care of them, and it's not right...

[And since he can't really reach anything else, Lithuania will keep rubbing Poland's cheeks and temples.]

It isn't, and it will never be. But when the time comes, I know that you will do your best for their sake, no matter what happens.

[Takes a few more deep breaths, until he can finally make himself act calm.]

...You're totally right.

Come on. Let's check this place out, see if we can find any clues about where he's gone. We like, need to be back to the room by the time Pakistan shows up, right?

Yes. But we should still be careful... I can only hope to have hit most of the traps.

[Clearly not, something shoots towards him, hits the armor and falls to the ground when he steps forward, making him take a hasty step back.]

[It's nothing that could possibly harm a human if fired with this speed, it's form doesn't make it somethig that will fly well - one option left. If it's not designed to kill when it hits, it is designed to kill after that.

Lithuania grabs Poland's free arm and starts running, trying to drag the other nation with him.]

[When he hears the sound of something bouncing off of armor and feels that it's not him that got hit, he looks at Lithuania in alarm.]

[And then Liet's dragging him, and out of instinct and the trust built from fighting together, he's running along with him.]

Like, what are we doing?!

[And then he opens a random door and throws Poland inside, following suit himself. This will bruise, there are movements that armor isn't made for and one of those is falling onto your stomach, but it was a good decision. They can hear a loud explosion, and then there is an extreme heat by the door, and pieces of things flying down the corridor.

Lithuania is very white in the face and just stares at Poland, not sitting up yet. Future weapons are insane. He anticipated an explosion, but this...]

[Poland is not quite amazed at the heat and the shrapnel as Liet is, having fought the Major before and all. Still, it's by no means something he's used to...]

[Which means he'll treat it the same way as anything else scary and unfamiliar. With a cocky little grin like the one he wears in battle, he gives a little laugh fueled purely by adrenaline.]

...Totally told you, there were explosions last time.

Ugh, I totally didn't even think of that! Damn it!

[He sits down next to Liet, reaching down to stroke his hair comfortingly]

...Hey. We're okay. We're totally gonna be fine, Liet...

[Mind you, this is Lithuania's first encounter with (pretty moderately sized) modern means of mass destruction. He's just a tad bit freaked out.]

What have the come up with?

[Poland's touch is comforting, but he can't get up yet. This is insane.]

Well, you know humans. They've always been good at coming up with new and creative ways to get people killed...

[He keeps stroking Liet's hair, slow and soft, resting his free hand on his arm as he does]

[He knows that, but still... He leans into the touch, and when the tension fades and the shock changes, takes over, he starts to tremble and soon shake.]

I really wished they didn't... [He looks up at Poland.] ...we really need those guns.

I know, Liet. I know.

[He sighs, still not really comfortable with the guns idea--do they really need one more tool for killing people faster, more impersonally, more mercilessly? But it's looking less and less like they can afford to be picky about it...]

Come on. Let's like, go back to our room and get out of this armor. It'll be okay...

[He nods. Pakistan might be waiting. He doesn't want her to worry more. He pushes himself up, which is always a bit harder in full armor, but works.]

[He pats the scabbard at his side]

I lost my crossbow, but I doubt that it survived ...that.

[Taking Liet by the hand, he leads him to the stairs and back down to their room again. I assume Paku isn't there yet.]

[Which means that they can get our of their armor quickly and in the main room... and then Lithuania will just sit on the bed, still shaking a little.]

[Poland's not going to let him sit there freaking out all by himself! He finishes disarming himself and goes over to the bed, wrapping his arms around Liet's waist and resting his head on his shoulder, trying to comfort him as much as he can with his presence.]

We're like, gonna be fine. It'll be okay.

[He smiles and leans his head against Poland's for a moment.]

Not really. I like, want to stay right here until my heart quits doing the weird flipping out thing it's been doing since that thing came at you.

[Yeah, he doesn't really seem interested in letting go of Liet any time soon.]
