So, um. I know not everyone here is Christian, but... Today's a really important day for those of us who are, and I kinda wanted to share that with people. So like, I wanted to start the day with a reading from Matthew for everyone! And Liet and I have been making tons of sweets and pisanki for today, if anyone wants to come hang out and help us eat them...

But first things first~ [He crosses himself, then picks up a huge, leather-bound Bible with vellum pages, flipping it open to a page he'd marked and beginning to read aloud. His Latin accent is actually pretty good, because he's had a LOT of practice since his baptism over 400 years ago.]

A lesson from the Gospel of Matthew:

I believe so. My kingdom is Pheliosta, and our neighbor is Razenia. But, I don't think we have talking countries, although we do have magic.

There are several different kinds. I teach holy magic, which was given to us by St.Phelios. There's also natural magic, and the magic that monster's have. And then vampires use blood magic, but humans can't.

I think blood magic may be what you're talking about. They can give humans powers in exchange for a pact with them.

...I guess your kind is probably okay, then. As long as it's not that kind.

My kind involves a lot of healing, and also fighting demons and undead.

Like, many of what?

Demons.

They only show up in the mortal world sometimes, but they totally exist.

If you don't have magic, they must be harder to get rid of.

Well, I mean... yeah, but we do have like, saints and stuff, people who can use God's power to heal and drive out demons. So I think maybe it's not that different?
