[Elaine has gone to his room in the hopes of apologizing for her earlier harsh words. She leans against his door, knocking.]

[He sniffles into a silky handkerchief, rubbing his eyes with the back of his hand before he looks up at the door]

[She opens the door slowly. Her eyes are still directed toward the floor as she begins to speak.]

I... shouldn't have said those things. I don't know what came over me, and I'm sorry. I was wrong... I know that Liet hurts you a lot, but if you love him... then I know that it will all work out, someday. I can believe in that.

And with Wolfram, that's your choice, too! If you want to be with him, then... [She looks up to see him sobbing and suddenly her voice catches in her throat.]

Elaine... Elaine, I don't know what to do! I thought Liet didn't want to be with me, so I... I told Wolfram I'd marry him, but I still love Liet so much and that makes it all feel so wrong, and now he's dead and I wasn't there for him!

Oh, Angel... I've made such a terrible mistake! I like, thought my best friend could never love me back, so I decided to be with someone else... but I was wrong, and now I'm engaged and I still love Liet but he's dead and it's a-all my fault for being such a fool...!

But if he's dead, isn't it all for the better to have another person that cares about you enough to want to be married with you?

But like, I still love Liet, more than anything! I totally don't think it's fair to Wolfram to marry him like that, and I love him, too, but that's so new that I don't know if it will really last, and I seriously think I did a really bad thing accepting his proposal...

Ah- Oh no.... Too bad I could use Lissa's abilities right about now... That's it. I'm coming over and we're going to cheer you up, at least a little bit. I've got an idea! How about we have a movie night and eat junk food and ice cream and have hot cocoa?

[Rose frowned. She felt terrible that Poland was so down. It was understandable. She didn't give him much time to answer back, because she had already left for the kitchen after grabbing movies and getting some hot cocoa for them and various junk food.]
